Muskegon County Habitat for Humanity is participating in #GivingTuesday and invites you to join this national movement!  Your donation to our "Paving the Way" campaign will help us develop and pave a private road in Whitehall Township where one Habitat home is already located and up to six more will be built!

Before construction can begin on the remaining homes, however, the road must be developed and paved.  Please help pave the way so that home construction can begin as soon as possible.  At least, one family is already waiting and hoping that they will be working alongside volunteers on their own home soon!

Please make a contribution today.

Please indicate "road" in the honoree box or on the memo line of your check.

Muskegon County Habitat for Humanity is a faith based organization that was founded on the premise that everyone deserves a safe, decent and affordable place to live.

Based on that belief, we partner with local churches, businesses, organizations, individuals and families to build and renovate area homes.  Since 1985 this effort has totaled 102 homes for local families in need of a decent and affordable place to live.  In 2016, at least, 2 more families will partner with us to purchase a Habitat home!

Qualifying families work along side volunteers on build sites and within the organization for, at least, 275 hours, as a requirement of the homeownership program.  They then purchase their completed home via a no-profit mortgage with an affordable monthly payment.

APPLY for the Habitat Homeownership Program

If your family is in need of affordable housing and is  ready for homeownership, but is ineligible for a traditional mortgage because of a low but stable income, the Habitat program might be for you.

Simply complete the Habitat Information Brochure to see if you qualify to apply.  If so return the form to the Habitat office to receive further application information. Habitat Information Brochures are also available at the office and at our 3 ReStore locations or by calling (231) 727-6020.
