WE NEED YOU—JOIN OUR CREW!
There are so many ways to help Habitat bring affordable homeownership to the low-income families of Muskegon County. Visit our Current Opportunities page to see how, where and when you can join our crew, then learn how to Become a Volunteer!
Volunteering on the work site is a fun, hands-on opportunity for individuals and groups to build homes alongside future Habitat homeowners. What better way to see the impact you are making while learning new skills and making new friends?
No experience required! Construction volunteers do carpentry, roofing, siding, interior trim, painting, and landscaping. New volunteers receive coaching from more experienced volunteers and Habitat staff.
Help without a hammer! Non-construction help is needed on site as well. Site Hosts greet volunteers, collect paperwork, manage supplies, lead prayer, and generally make the site a safe, fun, and friendly place to be! Meal providers are always very much appreciated as well.
Help us fund our mission through ReStore sales! Deconstruction, maintenance, repair, customer service, marketing and organizational volunteer work is available during store hours.
Behind the Scenes Crew:
It takes a lot to build affordable homes for families! Office, fundraising, training, and family support volunteer opportunities all help us get the job done.
